As a Cardmember, you'll earn one point for virtually every eligible dollar you spend on Card purchases. Better yet, you'll earn two points at stand-alone supermarkets, gas stations, home improvement stores, and drugstores that welcome the American Express Card. You can also earn double points when you use you Card at the U.S. Postal Service or to pay your wireless phone bill. Plus, rewards start at just 400 points - so it's easy to earn the rewards you want, fast.
So wherever you are, you're never far from the exceptional service and attention that American Express is known for.
If any linked account is not maintained in good standing, meaning all payments have not been received within 30 days of your statement closing date, you will forfeit all Membership Rewards points earned in that statement period. Some Corporate Cards, and some Optima® and American Express Credit Cards are not eligible for enrollment. Fees and terms for Corporate Cards may vary. For Platinum Card® members, Rewards Plus Gold Card members, American Express® Preferred Rewards Green Card members, American Express® Preferred Rewards Gold Card members, American Express® Rewards Green Card members, American Express® Rewards Gold Card members, and Corporate Platinum Card members, there is no annual program fee for the Membership Rewards® program.
Double points applies at qualifying stand-alone supermarkets, drugstores, gas stations, home improvement and hardware stores, and the U.S. Postal Service. Not valid in superstores or warehouse clubs. American Express® Cards are not currently accepted for bulk mail. Double points also apply to wireless phone bill payments. Double points will be posted to your account 8 to 12 weeks after the end of each month.
